Story of a baby with earthing
Laura koniver is M.D (Phisician/ General Practitioner), she has a fantastic experience with grounding.
The grounding means that you are connecting to the earth to support the specific functions of your body's organs, this supports the whole body.
So it is common sense to say that we are organisms that live and grow and depend entirely on the earth while we are alive, and yet we are completely isolated from the earth. You are so disconnected that it becomes a strange thing to take off your shoes.

Laura says:
" I knew nothing at all about the link to the land, I had never heard of it. I became a mom and I had my first child, and she had colic, and she was crying and crying. The first thing I did, being myself, was to take him to the pediatrician.
I remember very well having left his office with a knotted stomach because the first thing he had said to me: “it's a baby let him cry.
The first time I noticed that she was not in pain and the only time I could relieve her was when I was barefoot, and I had her in my arms.
I noticed that if I used a stroller or if it was in a car she still suffered it was not a placebo effect because she had no idea if I was wearing shoes or not.
The effect of grounding on health:
I slowly started to realize that this child couldn't take a nap and feel comfortable when it was against my skin and when I was barefoot on the ground and if I took my feet off the ground she woke up again and the pain returned. This practice I did not know what it was called and thinking of using it in my medical practice.
I worked with one of my mentors and she recommended me to connect my energy to the earth, I did not know what she meant by this "connect to the earth", so the first time I did in Coming home is to look at the internet and do a search.
I found Clint Ober's work and the book on it and realized that it was a real thing and a real cure with a lot of medical literature supporting it.
The click came to me and I said: “We do things completely upside down”, a child's typical day is completely disconnected from the earth.
Most children wake up after sleeping on a bed that was not earthed, and then they go to a class that is isolated, once in the recreation, they are in a yard with an asphalt floor they stay 100 % of time disconnected from the earth".
It's a warm experience.
